Jennifer began taking piano lessons at the age of seven and, soon after, participated in performances at church, school talent shows, and Music Federation Club contests.
She received a B.A. in Piano Performance at Elon College in NC, but it wasn't until 1992, at the urging of a close friend, that she decided to step into the realm of original composition.
Her style is greatly influenced not only by such classical composers as Chopin, Bach and Mozart, but also by more contemporary composers, such as Rodgers and Hammerstein, John Williams and Andrew Lloyd Weber.
In her own words, "My mission in this life has always been to bring beauty, peace and love into the lives of others. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find quiet places in a noisy society of technical inventions that so fill our every waking moment. I hope my compositions allow an escape for each listener into those Sacred Halls of Silence where only Truth abides."
