Ken is a member of SMA (Southwestern Montana Artists), AIS (American Impressionist Society), NGAG (North GA Art Guild), owns a business, and resides in Clarkesville, GA with his wife Judy of 50 years. As a landscape impressionist, Ken sees awesome landscapes everywhere. The two fell in love with the West when they lived in Montana and return frequently to southwestern Montana and Wyoming. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.

Ken comments: “It is impossible to flawlessly reflect the beauty of God’s glory all around us on a simple two-dimensional canvas. We are limited to a few tubes of color and try to insert various values while nature displays unlimited color notes and values that change by the minute. It is my desire to express in my painting a mood that moves the viewer…the painting, it is hoped, should leave a strong impression. Rather than expressing a wonderful single note by my painting, I want the viewer to sense a full chord. I started painting late in life after my life as a USAF fighter pilot and corporate executive, but I love the challenge to express God’s creation via my paintings in an impressionistic-realism style. It is His work through me. I just put the paint on the canvas. So look around, pause, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. Thank you for viewing my art…”
